My name is Mary Evelyn Melton, and I am a senior at Clemson University. I will be spending the next few months in Cange, Haiti as a project management intern for Clemson Engineers for Developing Countries. My work is focused on improving the efficiency of the medical equipment and overall hospital operations at Hôpital Bon Sauveur de Cange. I am also working with my fellow intern Ashley to assist in her work with the Cange municipal water system.

I have been working on the medical equipment project for four years while at Clemson, and I am excited to be here in Haiti. My passion for the project has been translated to a desire to pursue a career in international development. Follow my experiences for the next few months!
